  • 3 large Granny Smith apples peeled, cored and thinly sliced
  • 1 cup rolled oats unflavored
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • ½ cup flour
  • ½ cup or 1 stick of salted butter lightly softened
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • ½ tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries or 1/2 cup fresh cranberries
  • Cooking spray
  1. First, preheat oven to 350 F.

  2. Next, using a medium bowl, combine apples and cranberries with one 1 tsp of cinnamon

  3. Then, in a separate medium bowl, combine oats, brown sugar, flour, 1 tsp cinnamon, and nutmeg and cut the butter into the other ingredients with a pastry cutter or a fork.

  4. Next, in an 8”x 8”x 3" square baking dish spray the bottom and sides with cooking spray then put in apple mixture. Top apple mixture with oat mixture.

  5. Then, bake at 350F for 1 hr.
