Watering Can with Daisies and Burlap Ribbon
I bought a galvanized watering can, small bouquet of yellow daisies and burlap ribbon for this easy craft project at a craft store. It came together in minutes!
In four easy steps, you can make this cute watering can with spring flowers to display anywhere in your home! Plus, you can re-purpose the watering can later. Put different flowers in it or use it to hold plastic forks and knives at a BBQ. They would make really cute wedding shower favors!
Of course, you can use a bigger galvanized watering can.
Watering Can with Daisies and Burlap Ribbon
Supplies:
5″ galvanized watering can
7″ long faux spring flowers
Instructions:
First, cut off a 3″ piece of burlap ribbon and then cut it into four square equal sized pieces. Then, stack the pieces.
Next, using a quarter, cut around the quarter to make the round burlap pieces to use as the eyes of the daisies. You’ll need 2 round burlap pieces for each daisy eye. Repeat this steps 1 and 2 to make as many pieces as you need for each daisy.
Next, using a glue gun, I glued the round burlap pieces to each other and then to the eyes of the daisy. Put the flowers into the watering can and arrange as you see fit.
Last, cut a piece of burlap ribbon that is 28″ long. Cut the piece in half lengthwise. Tie the burlap ribbon to the handle of the watering can.
That’s it! It’s so easy. You can do this craft with other daisy colors but, I think the bright yellow compliments the brown in the burlap perfectly!
