Instructions:
These Rice Krispies Treat Easter Eggs with Cadbury Egg Surprise are easy-to-make.
- First, make Rice Krispies Treat according to package directions.
- Then, form them into egg shapes around a mini Cadbury Egg.
- Next, stuff the egg inside a plastic Easter egg to form a perfect and uniform egg shape.
- Then, dip the eggs in colorful melted candy wafers.
- Last, decorate the eggs while still wet with spring colored M&Ms and non-perils. That’s it!
Your kids will love making these eggs as much as eating them! They’re perfect to put in Easter baskets or displayed on the dessert table at Easter brunch or Easter dinner. Rice Krispies Treat Easter Eggs with Cadbury Egg Surprise
Ingredients
- 3 cups Rice Krispies Rice Cereal
- 2 tbsp butter
- 3 cups mini marshmallows
- 10 Mini Cadbury Eggs
- 12 oz pink candy wafers
- 12 oz light green candy wafers
- 1/4 cup M&Ms
- 1 tbsp spring colored non-pareils
Instructions
- In a large saucepan on low heat, melt butter. Add to marshmallows and continue to stir until marshmallows are completely melted. Add Rice Krispies and stir together until well combined.
- Begin to add the rice mixture to a plastic egg leaving room for the mini Cadbury eggs in the middle. Close the egg to form the egg shape. Then remove plastic egg.
- Melt candy wafers according to package directions. Dip Rice Krispies eggs into melted candy wafers. Add M&Ms and non-pareils. Put on wax paper to dry.
- Repeat steps 2 and 3 until all eggs are formed and decorated.
