Quick Fire Cider Recipe

As the season shifts into the colder months, it impacts our bodies. Our lymph and circulation begin to respond to the colder weather, giving our bodies the signal to slow down.

This provides an opportunity to invite time for contemplative practices that support your overall well being during the winter months. It is important that our nervous system needs an opportunity to rest and reset for our overall mental, emotional and physical health.

However, the fall tends to be a busy season with the school year in full swing, holidays and family gatherings. Our immune system tends to suffer from lack of rest and eating too much sugar and rich foods.

We tend to be on autopilot and our self care routines go on the back burner. Using your food as medicine can help beat the burnout during this season. Spices like oregano, rosemary, thyme, parsley, cinnamon, ginger, horseradish, turmeric, garlic and onion are powerful in boosting your immunity.
