The first time I tasted a Moscow Mule I was hooked! Vodka, ginger beer, mint and lime juice was simply a wonderful combination. Adding Limoncello only makes it even BETTER!
By the way, Moscow Mules can be made with white rum too and their fabulous as well.
I especially like drinking this cocktail in the summer when I can go outside an pick fresh mint leaves myself.

The most effort this cocktail will take is muddling the mint leaves which, you’ll only do for about 30 seconds.
Is there alcohol in ginger beer?
No, ginger beer is non-alcoholic. It should really be called ginger soda, in my opinion.
I suppose in a pinch, you could substitute ginger-ale if you absolutely had too.
Another thing I love about Moscow Mule cocktails is that they are not sugary and super sweet using regular ginger beer. Sometimes, I use diet ginger beer to cut out the sugar. This recipe has regular ginger beer.

- Next, add ice to the cup.
- Then, add the Limoncello.
- Next, add the vodka.
- Then, add the ginger beer.

Why does a Moscow Mule have to be in a copper cup?
Copper mugs keep cold drinks cold (and hot drinks hot.) Copper metal is a thermal conductor. Therefore, your iced Moscow Mule will be nice and cold at every sip!
Wouldn’t these mugs make a great gift? They keep your cocktails COLD! Plus, they’re not easy to break like glass so, they’re convenient to use outside for pool or deck parties.
You’re going to LOVE these Limoncello Moscow Mules.
I found that out when I added Limoncello to a mojito. You must try my Limoncello Mojitos too!
