You know that excitement when you drink bubbling champagne? Well, multiply that by 10 because of the delicious lemon and elderflower flavors incorporated into this cocktail.
Like my Limoncello Martini, it’s absolutely perfect for Easter brunch and spring wedding or baby showers, Christening, Communion and Confirmation parties, etc. It’s a pretty pastel yellow and gender neutral for those who still want to be surprised.
Limoncello Elderflower Champagne Cocktail
This cocktail tastes best the colder that it is served. Therefore, I suggest chilling all of the ingredients before making it except for the Limoncello. Put that in your freezer.
Limoncello is best served as cold as possible. It will not freeze into a solid form.
Champagne should always be chilled when served.
Substitutions
- Use Prosecco dry champagne instead of Asti Spumante if you want to lessen the sweetness
- Use elderflower syrup instead of St. Germain elderflower liqueur to lessen the cost and/or alcohol but, retain the flavor.
You’re going to like this cocktail so much that, you’re going to want to make a few at a time if you’re with your friends. It’s so perfect for brunch and pairs well with Ham, Egg and Gouda Breakfast Muffins!

- 1 cup Asti Spumante
- 1/2 cup Limoncello
- 1/4 cup St. Germain Liqueur
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- 4 lemon twists

Limoncello Elderflower Champagne Cocktail
Ingredients
- 4 oz Asti Spumante Champagne, chilled
- 1 oz Limoncello Lemon Liqueur, from freezer
- 1 tbsp St. Germain Elderflower Liqueur, chilled
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 strip lemon twist (rind or zest)
Instructions
- First, pour 4 oz of chilled champagne into a measuring cup.
- Then, add 1 oz of lemon liqueur to the champagne.
- Next, add one tablespoon of elderflower liqueur.
- Then, add one tablespoon of fresh lemon juice.
- Stir the mixture and pour it into a champagne glass. Add the lemon rind or zest for garnish.
