Salmon is not only delicious but, it’s nutritious too! You can flavor it so many different ways. I’ve made Honey Garlic Salmon and Honey Lemon Salmon with Asparagus just to name a couple.
Plus, this recipe is GREAT for camping! It’s always good when you can make a healthy dinner while camping and only have to bring a few ingredients. Who wants to bring a lot of food along when you have all of that camping gear?

How to Make Lemon Garlic Grilled Salmon Foil Packet with Broccolini
Below, I’m going to show you how to grill salmon in foil on a gas grill. It’s super easy and a great healthy camping dinner! You can use skin on salmon for this recipe or without skin. Just remember to remove it after the salmon is cooked.
Ingredients:
- 1 lb salmon
- 1 bunch broccolini
- 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 3 garlic cloves
- 1/2 lemon
Instructions:
- First, in a small sauce pan, add oil, garlic and a squeeze of lemon juice. Cook on med/high heat for about 1 minute or until it starts to sizzle. Turn off heat.
- Next, using a large piece of heavy duty aluminum foil, place salmon filet on it. Add salt and pepper to taste. Zest the half lemon and add to the top of the salmon. Drizzle about 1 to 1 1/2 tbsp of the cooked oil over top of the salmon. Cut two lemon slices and place over the top of the salmon.
- Then, close the foil by pulling up the bottom and top of the foil as shown in the pictures.
- Next, fold over the sides of the foil.
- Then, press the foil to close.
- Then, place the foil packet on the grill for 10-15 minutes.
- Meanwhile, steam the broccolini in a medium sized pot. When done, drain water and add the remaining oil.
