Lavender Lemon Drop Martini

When spring is in the air, it’s time for fresh, floral, and citrusy flavors! I have some small obsession with lavender. I just love the color and scent.

So, when you pair it with my absolute favorite cocktails – lemon drop martinis, I’m in a some kind of drink euphoria with my taste buds.

Basically, you’re adding a floral twist to an already incredible Lemon Drop Martini! It’s the lavender version of this classic cocktail. This drink is a bit similar to another recent favorite of mine- Lavender Tom Collins.

This Lavender Lemon Drop Martini drink is perfect for Easter brunch, Mother’s Day, Bridal shower or any warm-weather gathering. If you like lavender and lemon, it’s a must-try.

Lemon Lavender Cocktail

The Lavender Lemon Drop Martini is a sophisticated twist on the classic Lemon Drop, making it an ideal choice for spring and summer occasions.

The floral notes of lavender add a touch of elegance, while the citrus flavors keep it crisp and refreshing. Whether you’re sipping on a sunny patio or celebrating a special occasion, this cocktail is sure to impress your guests.

This elegant drink combines the bright tang of fresh lemon juice with the delicate sweetness of lavender syrup, all balanced beautifully with vodka and a hint of orange liqueur.

I like to use Cointreau instead of Triple Sec in this drink because it blends better with the vodka, in my humble opinion.

Ingredients

*The full, printable recipe is in the recipe card at the bottom of this post where you can adjust the number of servings.

  • vodka
  • Cointreau (or Triple Sec)
  • fresh lemon juice (about a lemon half)
  • lavender syrup (lavender simple syrup)
  • ice cubes
  • sugar for the rim of the glass (optional) or purple sanding sugar
  • lemon twist or lavender sprig for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. First, If you’d like a sugared rim, rub a lemon wedge around the rim of a martini glass and dip it in sugar. Set aside.
  2. Then, in a cocktail shaker, combine vodka, Cointreau, fresh lemon juice, and lavender syrup, with ice. Give it a good shake and repeat until it’s well blended and cold.
  3. Then, carefully pour the mixture into your prepared martini glass.
  4. Next, garnish with a lemon twist, lemon slice or a sprig of lavender for a beautiful finishing touch.

Fresh Lemon Juice

I don’t suggest using bottled lemon juice for this recipe because the fresh lemon adds not only more citrus flavor but, a freshness that you can’t get from a bottle.

Lavender Syrup

For your own personal preference, you can sweeten this drink by adding a little bit more of the the lavender syrup or a little bit of regular simple syrup.

Big Batch Recipe

See recipe card notes for the big batch recipe. It makes four servings about 6 oz each.

Lavender Lemon Drop Martini

This isn’t just a delicious cocktail—it’s also visually stunning, making it a great addition to any spring or summer event. Imagine serving these at an Easter brunch with fresh pastries, or at a Mother’s Day gathering alongside fruit salads and tea sandwiches.

The light, floral notes make it the ultimate warm-weather drink. So, the next time you want to enjoy a taste of spring, shake up a Lavender Lemon Drop Martini.

Cheers to sunshine, fresh flavors, and friends!
