It can be quite useful when you need to make dinner, haven’t gone grocery shopping yet and need a recipe based on limited ingredients on hand. How often does this happen? You can search by a particular holiday (Christmas, Thanksgiving, etc.), cuisine (Italian, Mexican, Asian, etc.), diet (i.e. Vegetarian, Vegan, Paleo, etc.) food allergy (excluding nuts, dairy, etc.) and cook time.
After you’ve filtered your recipes, you can “Yum”(save) them for future reference. Your Yums and taste preferences will be saved so that Yummly can suggest recipes for you.
You can save your recipes into your own recipe box and also make collections (i.e. “Sunday Morning Favorites” or “July 4th Appetizers” ) and share your recipes on social media too.
