Ahh…vacation! Don’t you look forward to your vacation with anticipation for months? I certainly do. And I want it to be as perfect and relaxing as possible. But, there’s always a “but,” when I go on vacation. On vacation I tend to deal with occasional constipation and it gets uncomfortable no matter how nice the hotel accommodations are.
Since I have dealt with occasional constipation on several vacations I have learned to bring along some MiraLAX® Mix-In Pax® for relief of my occasional constipation. MiraLAX® works with your body’s natural process to provide effective relief from occasional constipation. Because it works with the body, MiraLAX® provides a gentle experience, and doesn’t cause harsh side effects.
However, I only use it as directed on the bottle so there’s no guessing as to how much I need or how often. I simply just read the directions on the packet or bottle. MiraLAX® is different from stimulant laxatives because stimulant laxatives make your body by forcefully stimulating the nerves in your colon.
MiraLAX® works with my own body’s water to hydrate, soften and unblock my system naturally and with ease. I’m all about gentle relief. How about you?
I like travelling with confidence when I’m leaving for a long anticipated, much needed vacation! I have enough to do with packing for our family of four and I don’t want to have to worry about running to the drug store in an unfamiliar place to find occasional constipation relief.
Therefore, I just bring my MiraLAX® Mix-In Pax with me! That way I know I already have it in my luggage and ready to use when needed!
Here’s a coupon to use on any MiraLAX® product too.
I buy my MiraLAX® and MiraLAX® Mix-In Pax at my local CVS store before I leave for vacation. I like to be proactive.
Tips for How to Prepare for Occasional Constipation Before Travelling
First, buy MiraLAX® Mix-in Pax at CVS and be sure to pack them your toiletries bag.
Next, make sure to bring plenty of bottled water, and/or drinks containing electrolytes while being on the road and for the duration of your trip to keep hydrated. Caffeinated coffee will help you naturally go too.
Plus, pack some high-fiber, on-the-go snacks so that you can easily munch on them in your car or at the airport. You can bring some of the fruits listed below in their dehydrated forms too:
Prunes
Pears
Apples
Bananas
Strawberries
Broccoli florets
Guacamole dip (contains avocado which is high in fiber)
If you begin to deal with occasional constipation put one dose of the MiraLAX® Mix-in Pax® into a 4-8 oz glass of lemonade, lemon-flavored water or any juice you like.
Always follow the directions on the package. It’s grit free and unflavored too!
That’s it! Now, you’ll be able to enjoy your vacation without feeling uncomfortable, getting that bloated feeling or feeling gassy. I’m sure you’re family will thank you for that, especially on car rides.
So, when you experience occasional constipation, go to a CVS store and get MiraLAX® to help you get relief you want without harsh side effects. It’s so much easier to enjoy your vacation after the stress of sitting in traffic or airport security lines without feeling the symptoms of needing to “go” when you can’t “go!” So, get your “go” going with MiraLAX®.
