Learn how to create irresistible garlic bread in the air fryer using the simplicity and versatility of garlic powder. What’s great about this simple recipe is that you can adjust the butter to garlic ratio to your liking.

My taste tester, which happens to be my eleven-year old son who loves to eat as much as I do, told me he likes it better with more garlic and less butter but, only you can decide which is best according to your liking!

You only need a few simple ingredients to make this perfect side dish with a very short cooking time. You only need a loaf of bread, butter, garlic powder (or granulated garlic), salt and parsley flakes. You can use chopped fresh parsley or dried parsley. Fresh parsley will become dried when it comes out of your air fryer anyway.

Easy air fryer garlic bread is a delicious, quick snack too. Your teens can make this as a filling afterschool snack.

Other garlic bread recipes use a homemade garlic butter or garlic butter mixture but, I think it’s better to spread the softened butter on the bread slices and then sprinkle the garlic powder evenly over the bread slices. Why dirty a small bowl unnecessarily?

Don’t use aluminum foil because then you won’t get the crispy edges and toasted brown top. However, if that’s your preference, then have at it.

Carefully remove the garlic bread from the air fryer using tongs or a spatula, and transfer them to a serving plate.

Make cheesy garlic bread by adding some shredded mozzarella cheese or shredded parmesan cheese either before you put in the air fryer or after. It only take 2-3 minutes at 375F to melt the mozzarella cheese and 1-2 minutes to melt the parmesan cheese.

How to Serve Garlic Bread

Serve garlic bread warm alongside your favorite pasta dishes, soups, or salads, and watch as it becomes the star of the meal. It’s great with tomato soup in particular.

Serve it with my popular homemade tomato sauce (Sunday gravy) because it’s great for dipping in marinara sauce.

It’s wonderful with to baked ziti with ricotta cheese or southern Italian lasagna. Serve it with chicken cutlets or sauteed broccoli rabe
