When we were looking for great seafood restaurants in Naples, FL, we were reluctant to eat in restaurants in which we didn’t have good recommendations. What if the food is horrible or the service is slow and our toddlers erupt at the table because their patience has expired before the main meal arrives? What if the there is no kids’ menu and won’t accommodate or the food is mediocre with a pricey bill? Oh no! Where are the great seafood restaurants in Naples, FL?

Great Seafood Restaurants in Naples, Fl
Of course there are many great places to eat in Naples, Florida but, the two mentioned in this post are where we ate and enjoyed the food, service and atmosphere. Both were great seafood restaurants in Naples, Fl with enjoyable dining experiences worth sharing with you!
Seafood is one of our favorite foods. One Pot Honey Lemon Salmon with Asparagus, Shrimp Scampi Fettuccine and Roasted Tilapia are dishes I like to make at home that are fast and easy clean up.
In March, we booked our flight to the beautiful state of Florida. We visited Venice, Marco Island and Naples all if which are on the Gulf of Mexico side.
We found two great seafood restaurants in Naples, FL that we really enjoyed. Florida is such a popular winter vacation destination, it is worth saving and sharing this info for your next trip to Florida.
Citrus Seafood
Citrus Seafood-455 Fifth Ave S, Naples, FL (town center)
A cute little seafood place located on Fifth Ave South right in the heart of the popular shopping district and only a few short blocks from the beautiful white sand beach, is the first of two great seafood restaurants in Naples, FL.!
The location of this restaurant was perfect but, not too pricey. Also, we found free parking in two parking garages around Sixth and Eighth Avenues.
The restaurant has patio seating near the sidewalk so you can feel that you’re part of the action. Naples is a beautiful town so, I can understand why it is so popular with the resident retirees and tourists.
Citrus Seafood has a wonderful variety of fresh seafood on their lunch menu and it is not entirely overpriced, considering its proximity to shopping and the beach. Nonetheless, the food is so good, you will not be disappointed. I’d rather pay a little more for excellent food any day over lower mediocre food….Any day and twice on the weekends. This food was borderline gourmet.
The Great Seafood
I ordered the Sliders with Grouper fish from the Small Plates section of the menu, which could instead be ordered with lobster or ground beef. The sliders came with fresh hand cut fries made with peanut oil. Also, the made in-house slider buns were fresh and delicious.
The fries were absolutely delicious! Our 4 yr old ate all of his fries and then moved onto mine.
The Grouper was so fresh and grilled to perfection with a few small crispy edges. It was not overly salted or overly seasoned. I find this problem at many restaurants where over seasoning must be their way of covering up food that isn’t fresh or is just low quality. There were two sliders on my plate along with the fries making it just enough for lunch. Also, the orange-colored sauce on the sliders was really good too.
Each one of us enjoyed our meal. I heard “mmm” from each person as they took their first bite. My husband ordered the Florida Fish Cakes from the Small Plates section and he was pleased as well.
Our friend enjoyed the homemade Crab Ravioli in a creamy mustard sauce. Homemade pasta is so much better than manufactured pasta you find in the freezer section of the grocery store! Although, I didn’t think the pasta needed quite that much sauce, it looked amazing.
Our other friend, had the Snapper with crab fried rice from the Large Plates and it was a nice size portion which, I’d say would be filling for dinner. He enjoyed it. Yum!

Our server was very pleasant. Although the restaurant does not have a kids’ menu, our server quickly told us they could make buttered pasta and fries for our toddlers. Our boys liked their fresh squeezed lemonade.
Also, I enjoyed Prosecco in a nice champagne flute. The glassware was elegant. Our 4 yr old thought he’d take a picture of the this water goblet after he saw me snapping pictures of our food. Although there is no kids menu, they were very accommodating. We would definitely go back to Citrus Seafood!
After our delicious lunch, we walked a few short blocks to the beach where my 3 yr. old decided to run up and down the beach and then fall into wet sand. Yes, I saw this coming.

Capri Fish House
Capri Fish House-203 Capri Blvd, Naples, FL 34113 (bay front)
This was the second of two great seafood restaurants in Naples, FL. I found a recommendation on Trip Advisor for Capri Fish House which mentioned you could eat on the beach which, immediately perked my attention. It is a very casual seafood place with indoor and outdoor seating, ample parking and you can have drinks or eat right on the beach with your toes in the sand! We were delighted to be just in time for Happy Hour followed by a romantic waterfront dinner for two.

We enjoyed late afternoon cocktails on the beach. I had, what I believed to be, a homemade Pina Colada (not frozen mix) followed by a Margarita, which also did not taste like a sugary mix. As I was sipping this delicious Pina Colada, I couldn’t help but think of Jimmy Buffet and the “Escape” song, aka “The Pina Colada song” and shortly after the song came on the speaker. Was it coincidental? Is the song played every time the drink is ordered?

The Great Food
There is an early bird menu if you order before 4:45 but, we enjoyed a nice long sunset dinner instead. We chose delicious Oysters Rockefeller and calamari. My husband prefers calamari not fried but I do, so the chef prepared it especially for us in a savory broth.

After a few drinks and a couple appetizers, our salads arrived followed by our delicious entres- Stuffed Flounder and Grilled Grouper both with steamed veggies and buttery mashed potatoes.

Also, the best part of this relaxing meal was enjoying it while watching a beautiful sunset on the water, over the pier while listening to live music with our toes in the sand!

Additionally, the Capri Fish House also has kayak rentals and jet ski tours. It’s a very casual restaurant serving good food with a smile, live music five days a week on the bay.
When you’re hungry after a long day of site-seeing or beach fun, don’t take a chance on an unfamiliar restaurant. Citrus Seafood* and Capri Fish House* are great seafood restaurants in Naples, FL with fresh, well-prepared seafood in good locations with enjoyable dining experiences which your tummy and wallet deserve!
