Easy Pumpkin Cannoli Dip with Cream Cheese

This tasty Pumpkin Cannoli Dip with Cream Cheese is super easy to make with little prep and is a great last minute potluck dish! Its delicious creamy pumpkin flavor is perfect a quick no bake fall dessert!

This recipe is very similar to my Easy Pumpkin Spice Cream Cheese Cannoli No-Bake Recipe. The cannoli filling is very similar.

Pumpkin Cannoli Dip with Cream Cheese

Ricotta Cannoli are a popular Italian dessert and it’s variation- Cannoli Dip is becoming popular as well.

However, this recipe is good if you don’t like ricotta cheese, don’t have it on hand or don’t have the time to wait for the ricotta cheese to drain, which takes hours.

This pumpkin cannoli recipe comes together quickly without a lot of ingredients making it a good choice for when you’re busy but need to take a dessert to a potluck. Plus, people love dips!

It’s a great pumpkin dish to take to Halloween parties or Thanksgiving.

Serve it with cinnamon sugar cannoli chips or powdered sugar cannoli chips.

Ingredients

The ingredients for this pumpkin cannoli dip recipe are few and easy to find in your local grocery store. If you don’t have pumpkin pie spice, you can make my Pumpkin Pie Spice Substitute recipe if you have the individual spices on hand.

PRO TIPS:

If you can find a dairy that has fresh cream, this recipe will be all the more delicious!

Also, use good quality chocolate chips. I typically use Ghiradelli.

Use good quality pumpkin puree (not pumpkin pie filling.)

Pumpkin Cannoli Dip with Cream Cheese

Instructions Summary

  1. First, using a hand mixer or stand mixer in a large mixing bowl, mix heavy cream on high for one minute until fluffy.
  2. Next, on medium speed, add powdered sugar and mix until well blended. Add cream cheese, pumpkin puree, vanilla and pumpkin pie spice and mix well.
  3. Then, stir in the chocolate chips. Refrigerate for one hour.
  4. Then, put in a serving bowl and add extra chocolate chips on top and serve with cinnamon sugar cannoli chips.

Substitutions or Additions

  • Top with pistachio nuts instead of chocolate chips.
  • Use white chocolate chips instead of semi sweet chocolate chips.
  • Use powdered sugar cannoli chips instead of the cinnamon sugar cannoli chips.
  • Instead of cannoli chips, serve it with ginger snaps or graham cracker sticks.

Storage

Store pumpkin cannoli filling in an airtight container for three days for maximum freshness.

This Pumpkin Cream Cheese Cannoli recipe is made with pumpkin spice cream cheese filling and crispy cannoli shells! It's a tasty no bake dessert for fall.

Ingredients
  

  • 5 oz cinnamon sugar cannoli chips
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 4 oz heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup canned pumpkin puree ( (not pumpkin pie filling))
  • 1 1/4 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract

Notes

Storage

Store cannoli in an airtight container for up to two days. If you want to enjoy them longer, fill them right before serving to preserve the crunchiness of the cannoli shells.

Substitutions

  • Use mascarpone cheese instead of cream cheese
  • Use mini cannoli shells if you prefer.
  • If desired, use mini chocolate chips instead of the regular size. 
  • Use chocolate chips instead of white chocoalte chips.
  • Adorn the cannoli ends with pistachio nuts instead of white chocolate chips.
