These Easy Puff Pastry Cheesy Mini Pepperoni Pizza Bites are made using a mini muffin tray. The puff pastry dough is topped with a cheese mixture containing shredded mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses and cream cheese, topped with pizza sauce and mini pepperoni slices! Doesn’t that sound fantastic?

I bought my Coca-Cola® Zero Sugar at my local Walmart who has a great selection of game day products to make “homegating” and tailgating as easy as possible! It’s a great place to stock up for the football season. Walmart is the party central for game day because, you can buy food, beverages, football decor, table coverings, paper products and everything you need to make your football-themed parties SCREAM- It’s time for kick-off!

I mean, the food is as important as the game isn’t it? If you’re a foodie, it is equally important. And, if you want your guests loving up the food as much as the game, let me show you how to make these yummy Cheesy Mini Pepperoni Pizza Bites in just 30 minutes!! Woot, woot!

Easy Puff Pastry Cheesy Mini Pepperoni Pizza Bites

Ingredients:

  • 1 – 8 oz. puff pastry dough sheet, thawed and cut into 1 inch squared pieces
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/3 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 1/3 cup mini pepperoni slices
  • 1/8 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp pizza sauce

First, preheat the oven to 375F.

Then, put the one-inch squared puff pastry dough into the mini muffin tray as shown below.

Next, in a medium sized mixing bowl, stir together garlic powder, cream cheese, shredded mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses until well combined.

Then, put approximately 1 1/2 teaspoons of the cheese mixture onto each one-inch squared puff pastry dough as pictured below.

Then, add a dab of pizza sauce on top of the cheese mixture followed by 3 mini pepperoni slices.

Then, bake them on 375F for 15 minutes! Let them cool a couple of minutes before removing them from the mini muffin pan. Be careful as they’ll be very hot. Garnish with some chopped fresh parsley if you like.

Easy Puff Pastry Cheesy Mini Pepperoni Pizza Bites

Easy Puff Pastry Cheesy Mini Pepperoni Pizza Bites with 7 ingredients in only 30 minutes!!

Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz puff pastry sheet, thawed (see package directions for thawing)
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened (should be very soft for mixing)
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/3 cup shredded parmesan cheese
  • 1/8 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp pizza sauce (squeezable is easiest)
  • 1/3 cup mini pepperoni slices
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped for garnish ((optional))

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375F.
  • Cut thawed pastry sheet into 1 square inch pieces. Place them into non-stick mini muffin tray.
  • In a medium-sized mixing bowl, stir together softened cream cheese, mozzarella cheese, parmesan cheese, and garlic powder.
  • Put about 1 1/2 teaspoons of the cheese mixture onto each puff pastry square. 
  • Top with 1/2 teaspoon of pizza sauce and 3 mini pepperoni slices.
  • Bake at 375F for 15 minutes.

Notes

How to Soften Cream Cheese:

Place cream cheese into a microwave safe bowl and place in microwave on defrost setting for 30 seconds and remove to check softness. Repeat until you can easily push down on cream cheese with your finger. 
Or, you may remove 4 oz of cream cheese from refrigerator 20 or so minutes prior to making this recipe and leave it on your counter top to soften at room temperature. 

Storage of Easy Puff Pastry Cheesy Mini Pepperoni Pizza Bites:

Store leftovers covered in refrigerator for up to three days. Reheat on microwave safe dish for 30 seconds depending upon the power setting on your microwave.

    I love these!! My fiance loves Italian and things he can eat with his hands (don’t ask me why lol) so this recipe is on point! I had to hide a couple just so he wouldn’t eat all of them!
    Also, one of my roommates hates red sauce, so I decided to make a batch with alfredo sauce and shredded rotisserie chicken… best decision ever!!
