How to Make Easy Peppermint Pretzel Bark
*The full recipe is at the bottom of this post.
First, in a 1 qt microwave safe bowl, add 1 tsp of melted coconut oil to chocolate chips. Put bowl in microwave on high power for 45 seconds. Stir chocolate until smooth. Add 10-15 more seconds if needed.
Next, line a small baking sheet with wax paper.
Then, spread melted chocolate evenly onto wax paper as shown above. Place mini pretzels on top of chocolate spaced about a half inch apart in 4-5 rows.
Then, place cookie sheet with chocolate and pretzels into the freezer for 10-15 min to harden chocolate.
In the meantime, in a 1 qt microwave safe bowl, add 2 tsp of melted coconut oil to white chocolate chips. Put bowl in microwave on high power for 45 seconds. Stir chocolate until smooth. Add 10-15 more seconds if needed. It’s best to melt white chocolate in intervals as white chocolate can burn more easily.
Refer to package instructions on how to melt white chocolate chips. Melted coconut oil helps obtain the desired consistency of melted white chocolate. If you are having trouble melting the chocolate, add a little more melted coconut oil and stir.
Coconut has so many great uses huh? I use it for chapped lips! It works great if you reapply often.
Next, stir in peppermint extract into melted white chocolate.
Then, spread melted white chocolate evenly on top of cooled chocolate that is on cookie sheet.
Finally, top with crushed candy canes.

It looks like I was a co-host the first time you posted this 🙂 I know I printed out your recipe to hopefully make. Thanks again for sharing with Fiesta Friday.
Yes! Put the pretzels on the semi sweet melted chocolate before you put it in the freezer or fridge to cool. If you forget, you can still put it on the cooled semi sweet layer right before you pour the melted white chocolate.
I’ll update the recipe.
The recipe doesn’t mention when to put pretzels in. After the semisweet choc layer??
Thanks Lynne. I have to stop eating it.
Thanks Mollie!
Oh yes, please! I’d love a box of this as a gift! Thanks for sharing with us at Fiesta Friday, Joanne!

My first thought was white chocolate and peppermint but no you added two more great layers. Pretzels and another layer of chocolate – what’s not to like about this. Thanks for coming to the party Joanne and sharing with Fiesta Friday.
I love chocolate bark 🙂 I must say yours sounds delicious and so festive 🙂
Thanks! I’m quite fond of it myself!
