- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 tsp cornstarch

- Then, put them in a small saucepan with lemon juice, cornstarch and sugar. Cook on medium heat for about 7-9 minutes on medium high heat. The juice will run out and then it will thicken as moisture evaporates.
- Next, use a sieve to strain out the seeds and pulp to get a smooth blackberry sauce or serve as is if you don't mind the seeds.
