This Easy Cannoli Cream Tiramisu Dessert is tiramisu made with a light chocolate chip cannoli cream filling. It’s a super delicious spin on the traditional Italian tiramisu.
This Cannoli Cream Tiramisu recipe is much like my Authentic Tiramisu except that it has ricotta and chocolate chips added to give it the flavor of cannoli.
Like tiramisu, it too is a light tasting dessert that’s not very sweet. The cannoli cream compliments the espresso soaked lady fingers. It’s very DELICIOUS!

The exact recipe is in the recipe card below.
First, you must let the ricotta drain overnight. This will remove a lot of the moisture so the cannoli cream isn’t runny.
Using a spoon, spread the ricotta in the strainer to thin it out. It’ll take several hours to drain so, just put it in the refrigerator overnight.
Next, you’ll make a mixture of heavy cream, mascarpone cheese, powdered sugar, drained ricotta and chocolate chips. See the recipe card for the whole recipe.
Then, put half of the lady fingers into a pan and soak them with a mixture of cooled espresso and vanilla.
Then, spread half of the cheese mixture gently and evenly on top of the espresso soaked lady fingers.
Next, add the remaining lady fingers to the top of the cheese mixture and brush the espresso mixture on them.
Then, add the remaining cheese mixture to the top. Again, spread it gently and evenly.
Then, sprinkle the cocoa powder on top, cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate eight hours or overnight.
This dessert will wow your family or dinner guests. It’s a great make ahead dessert because it can be made the day before.
It’s a light dessert that’s perfect for summer or any time of year.
