What kind of wine to use

I like using dry white wine (Sauvignon Blanc is my favorite) however, you can use Pinot Grigio or Chardonnay if you that that on hand.

Because I’m going to alter the flavor of the wine in this recipe, I’ll buy a cheaper brand. I suggest not going too cheap though or it may alter the quality of the sangira.

I like to use a dry white wine for this whie sangria recipe because I’m going to add sweetness to it from the Cointreau and lemon/lime soda. However, if you prefer to use a sweeter wine because you like your sangria sweet, then by all means do it.

What kind of fruit to use

Christmas Sangria with Prosecco

Because it’s a Christmas sangria, I like to use fresh cranberries and red apples however, you can certainly use green apples if that’s what you have on hand.

Add or subsitute some orange slices for the apple cubes or add pomegranate seeds for more festive touch.
