Make these delicious, homemade Italian meatballs in your air fryer for dinner for your sweetheart for Valentine’s Day or date night. This EASY main dish is low-carb, made with only 7 ingredients and is ready in 25 minutes!

Who doesn’t love a good homemade meatball? My parents were Italian immigrants and my mother was (R.I.P.) a fabulous home cook! I learned so much about Italian cooking from her and was lucky to have been paying attention when I was a kid.
The origin of this meatball recipe is one of my most popular Italian recipes on my website. The differenc with this recipe is that I use the air fryer as the method to cook it, it’s a much smaller batch and the meatballs don’t cook in the tomato sauce.
Therefore, it’s a great meatball recipe for when you don’t have much time, only have one pound of ground beef and only need to feed two people. Hence, it’s perfect for Valentine’s Day or date night.
Valentine’s Day Air Fryer Meatballs
These meatballs didn’t make it past my 11 year old boy, David. Anyone that knows David wouldn’t be surprised because he’s such a good eater and LOVES his mom’s food. He loves my Valentine’s Day Coversation Heart Strawberry Pancakes!

Using my air fryer is one of my favorite ways to prepare dinner because it’s fast and easy. I have lots of air fryer recipes for this reason.
I can make my main dish and one of my side dishes in my air fryer at the same time. Think air fryer meatloaf and garlic parmesan potatoes at the same time and with fewer minutes cooking time than a large conventional oven.
