Creamy Garlic Chicken and Broccoli Tortellini
I must admit, I have a little bit of an obsession with garlic! It is my most used seasoning after salt and maybe even before black pepper. I love the flavor!
It is essential to good Italian cooking. It’s one of the ten commandments of Italian cooking. You must not only use it, but you must use enough garlic!
Because this dish comes together quickly and effortlessly, it’s the PERFECT weeknight dinner! Plus, you can omit the chicken if you have none and it’s still a wonderful, vegetarian meal!
What are tortellini?
Tortellini are a round pieces of pasta that are filled one one side with cheese, then pinched together at the edges to make a semicircle that is then pinched again to close. That’s how the shape is made.
Also, tortellini can be filled with a ground meat filling. Cheese tortellini can be served hot with tomato sauce, pesto sauce or even in soup such as Spinach and Tortellini Soup with Sausage. Tortellini can be served cold as in pasta salad too.

This recipe makes a about six servings or four large servings. Keep that in mind if you’re feeding less than four people and don’t want leftovers. You can easily halve this recipe if you want to make less of it.
Add some red pepper flakes if you want to make it a bit spicy. Garnish with fresh parsley if you’d like.
This tortellini dinner is easy, fast and a filling dinner that will even fill up your teens or at least for a few hours. LOL!
