Below, I’ve provided pictures of how I use the accessories with my Instant Pot. Just think of the possibilities!
Mesh Steamer Basket
mesh steamer basket
Add a lot of veggies to this this basket and steam them. Add cabbage, potatoes, cauliflower, broccoli, greens, etc. This makes steam vegetables so easy! Steam green beans to make homemade green bean casserole! Or, steam potatoes to make this delicious dill red skin potato salad.
Holed Steamer Basket with Handles and divider
At first I looked at the divider, I wondered “What is that?” It’s a divider you put in the holed steamer basket so you can make three different food items without them falling into each other. Put it on the silicone trivet after you remove it from the Instant Pot. It fits perfectly on the trivet.
This holed steamer basket is perfect for steaming veggies. Use the divider to steam up to three different kinds of vegetables. If one of them has a shorter cooking time, just remove it and cook the remaining veggies longer. This durable steamer basket can hold clams, mussels, shrimp, corn on the cob to make a clam bake. You’ll need to put water at the bottom of the pot.
The handles make it easy to remove the holed steamer basket. Use your mini oven mitts to pull it out!
Steamer Rack Rivet with Handles
You can cook a whole chicken, beef roast or pork loin with this rack and pull it out easily with the handles. You’ll need to put water in the pot.
Stackable Egg Steamer
Use the stackable egg steamer rack to make hard boiled eggs for Deviled Eggs. You can make up to 14 eggs at one time and in just six minutes on high pressure! You can also make hard boiled eggs in the mesh basket.

Three Magnetic Cheat Sheets of Vegetables/grains/meat
What makes these cheat sheets wonderful is they’re magnetic stickers that you put right on the side of your Instant Pot for easy cooking times reference for grains, meats and vegetables. You don’t have to look around for your Instant Pot book that details this info. That’s a really handy tool that’s hard to lose!
My kids couldn’t wait to play with these cute little mitts.
First, you don’t actually use these for your conventional oven as the name implies. These little silicone mitts are used to remove the accessories from the Instant Pot when the contents are hot. They are handy little tools that will prevent your fingers from burning. Plus, they’re much easier to put on than whole oven mitts.
Silicone Trivet Mats
You also get two silicone trivet mats on which to put your steamer baskets or anything you’re pulling out of the Instant Pot such as potatoes. This will keep your oven mitts dry.
Wide Grip Tongs
These wide grip tongs give you the ability to pull out a small roast with one hand. This can come in handy when you have a baby on your hip! Put the small roast right on your silicone trivets.
Spring Form Pan
Yes, you can make a small cheesecake in your Instant Pot. There’s a cute little 7 inch spring form pan (which is a best seller on Amazon and cost $11 alone) that comes with the Instant Pot Accessories Kit. This Lemon Cheesecake recipe is would fit nicely into this pan. Just make your own graham cracker crust by combining 1 cup of graham cracker crumbs, two tablespoons of sugar and two table spoons of melted butter. Line the bottom of the spring form pan with parchment paper and press the crumb mixture onto the bottom and freeze for 10 minutes.
It’s the perfect size for 4-6 servings! Plus, you can always use it in your oven. It comes in handy when you’re out of cookie pie crust and will save you a trip to the store.
Use the trivet with handles and the oven mitts to pull it out when it’s done and place it on one of the silicone mats.
Didn’t I tell you it’d make a great gift?
Egg Bites Mold with Cover
You may be thinking to yourself “What the heck is that for?” Use the egg bites mold for way more than eggs. You can make mini meatloaves, yogurt, desserts, and more. Use the trivet with handles to remove them from your pot. You can make a similar recipe to the Starbucks Sous Vide Egg Bites with this mold. The possibilities are endless.
Note: Do not use the lid in the Instant Pot. It should only be used for storage.

Whisk & Tongs
These tongs are small and ideal for use with your Instant Pot. It’s a little bonus and I do use it. The whisk is also small and you can use with your Instant Pot. This is a little bonus you may or may not need if you already have one.
As you can see, some of these accessories work together. This Instant Pot accessories kit has many practical tools to use with your Instant Pot. It’s a great value and makes a great gift for anyone who has an Instant Pot and loves using it.
