My husband gave me this: Power Air Fryer Oven a few years ago for Christmas and I absolutely LOVE it. He bought me the red one pictured below. It’s festive looking to gift for Christmas or Valentine’s Day. However, it comes in black too.
The Benefits of Using an Air Fryer
Everything I cook in it cooks faster (as compared to a conventional oven) because it’s cooking in a smaller space.
It tastes much better than reheating foods in the microwave because the food comes out crispy from the air fryer vs. soggy from the microwave.
Additionally, you can save money on using electric power because if you were to make the same food in a conventional oven, it would take about twice as long (depending on what you’re making.)
I’m not exaggerating when I say that I use it daily! As a matter of fact, I made homemade pizza in it this week and will definitely be doing that again!
Is the Power Air Fryer Oven worth it?
It’s really a game changer when it comes to cooking because you can not only make main and side dishes in it, you can reheat frozen foods, dehydrate foods and even make desserts in it.
It’s PERFECT for potatoes and 30 minute meals.
Its rotisserie allows you to put French fries in a basket that rotates in the air fryer. It even has a handy metal basket remover so you don’t burn yourself.
Picture below are my Parmesan Rosemary Air Fryer Roasted Potatoes + VIDEO. They’ve been quite popular on Pinterest. Try this recipe and you’ll find out why!
I use my air fryer to:
- reheat frozen breakfast waffles, fries and pizza slices.
- make crispy potatoes without using a lot of cooking oil.
- reheat frozen waffle fries, egg rolls and pierogies.
- cook main dishes like meatloaf, pork chops, chicken, chicken wings Panko Coconut Shrimp steak, burgers, and veggies.
- make side dishes in it on on Thanksgiving and Christmas so, while my 20 lb. bird is getting it’s sauna treatment in my conventional oven I can save oven space.
- make pizza with fresh pizza dough.
- to make steak, which comes in handy when I run out of propane in the middle of cooking steaks or when dark clouds move in on a whim and it starts pouring rain.
This air fryer also comes with three booklets of recipes-one for air frying, one for dehydration and one for the rotisserie, which are a great starting point.
Also, I have plenty of air fryer recipes you can try that have been rated and reviewed by my loyal followers.
Also, I have a couple of terrific air fryer chicken wings recipes that are way better than what you get at restaurant chains. I love these Asian Sticky Wings.

Best Air Fryer with Rotisserie
Power Air Fryer Oven Features
- rotisserie– for French fries, kabobs, small whole meats and roasted nuts
- dehydrator– dehydrate fruit, kale to make kale chips, etc.
- cook or reheat foods using stainless steel racks
The rotisserie is perfect for making:
- French fries
- small (stuffed or unstuffed) boneless turkey breast
- boneless BBQ ribs
- sausage or kielbasa
- Cornish hen (small chicken)
- pork loin or tenderloin
- small whole boneless ham
- leg or rack of lamb
- rib roast
- street nuts
Moreover, as I mentioned above, the air fryer comes with rotisserie recipes so you have a great starting point. However, most of the above mentioned items can also be made with the racks alone.
Here’s just one great reason it’s a game changer:
It only takes a few minutes to reheat a Hot Pocket in your microwave but, it comes out soggy.
It will take you approximately the same amount of time in your air fryer yet, it comes out crispy, NOT SOGGY and then get hard after it sits a while.
This applies to French fries and many other things you’d typically reheat in a microwave.
You have the ability to dehydrate:
You can make your own:
- Fruit Rollups
- sweet potato chips
- candied bacon
- kale chips
- sundried tomatoes
Again, the recipes to make the above mentioned foods come with the air fryer. You’ll never have to toss stale bread again. Just make croutons for your salad or French Onion soup.
Make your own sun dried tomatoes with garden tomatoes and put them in Chicken Pesto Pasta with Sun Dried Tomatoes.
Best Air Fryer for Large Family
The Power Air Fryer Oven is best for large families because it has FIVE trays in which you can layer food to cook at the same time.
It has a rotisserie that is perfect for making kabobs, sausage, pork loin, beef roast, etc.
Also, it comes with a rotisserie basket that enables you to cook French fries or street nuts in it while they’re rotating.
Plus, it has a metal removable drip tray that you can cover in aluminum foil to make cleaning easier.

Why is the Power Air Fryer Oven better than the basket air fryers?
This is a great question. The oven has several trays (mine has five) that you can spread food on while the basket air fryer holds a much smaller capacity of food.
For example, I can reheat 4-6 slices of pizza in my oven simultaneously. If I used a basket air fryer, I could only reheat one or two slices at a time.
Because the oven has a larger capacity, it will take a little longer (not much though) to cook than the basket air fryer for that very reason.
Also, the more food you put in any air fryer, the longer it will take to cook as with any heating appliance but, always fewer minutes than in a conventional oven.
Below, is more information about the model I have and what you should consider when buying an air fryer for yourself or as a gift. They do make wonderful gifts especially for beginner cooks.

Do air fryers use less electricity?
Yes. They are more energy efficient when compared to a conventional oven because they’re smaller thereby heating less space.
They can reduce cooking times up to 50% compared to a conventional oven and are great to use for holiday cooking for these very reasons.
Things to consider when buying an air fryer
- Capacity– Smaller air fryers are usually 1-2 quarts while medium units are 1.5 quarts to 2 quarts and large units go up to 10 quarts.
- Wattage and power consumption-Ensure your kitchen outlets can support the watts consumption. This air fryer has three prongs.
- Temperature control- How hot does it get and will it overheat? Is it easy to change the temperature during cooking?
- Safety-Read over safety guide. Use oven mitts when removing trays from the oven. They’re very hot!
Are you trying to decide between an air fryer and a pressure cooker?
When I had neither of the appliances, I had to decide which one to buy first. You always wonder if you’ll use it enough to justify the cost. My good friend talked up her air fryer so much that I decided to buy the air fryer first.
Next, I bought an Instant Pot at Costco and had a lot of fun trying making things like a whole small chicken in it in record time.
In my opinion, it’s best to have both an Instant Pot and an Air Fryer but, I realize that’s not an option if you’re on a budget. It depends what you intend to make in each appliance and how often. Instant Pots are great gifts too.
It’s also a great kitchen helper that saves time and will help you use less oven space for holiday cooking.
Read more about how: Instant Pots are also a game changer.
Air fryers are great for making food crispy without deep frying which makes much healthier recipes.
Alternatively, pressure cookers are better for soups, stews and wet-type foods you would otherwise make in your slow cooker because it steams the food and MUST have liquid in the chamber pot.
Having a good quality air fryer on your kitchen counter top makes cooking easier, whether you cook for only yourself or a large family.
Teens can reheat frozen foods easily and you know how they eat several times between meals. It’s a wonder you don’t go broke just trying to feed them. Take the air fryer camping with you, if you use a camper because I know my bad back can not sleep in a tent! Get me a room at the Marriott instead!
Additionally, I also like having an alternative way to cook. For example, I’m having new countertops put in my kitchen and will not be able to use my stove. But, I’m not sweating about it because I know I can use my air fryer for breakfast, lunch and dinner and just plug it in near my kitchen table.
In conclusion, you’re going to love this Power Air Fryer Oven and whoever you buy it for. It is a great gift for individuals, couples or large families while reducing the amount of oil/fat needed to deep or pan fry foods while still getting crispy results. It’s a healthier way to cook.
