The turkey burgers are seasoned with Teriyaki sauce, a little sesame oil, fresh ginger, garlic and lemon grass. The fresh ginger adds nice flavor to the ground turkey along with the Teriyaki sauce and sesame oil. What a great combo of flavors in one burger.
The spicy Sriracha Honey Sauce only takes seconds to mix together and gives a powerful punch to this yummy turkey burger! Rice and butternut squash are the starch and veggie you need to fill your belly and feel satisfied without loads of calories!

How to Make Asian Turkey Burger Bowls with Sriracha Honey Sauce

Asian Turkey Burgers:
First, combine ground turkey, Teriyaki Sauce, Sesame Oil, Lemon Grass, fresh ginger, and garlic powder in a bowl.
Form 4 patties. Grill for a few minutes on each side until juices run clear when cut in the middle of burger.
In a medium sauce pan, add oil, spiralized butternut squash, garlic pepper and salt. Cook on med/high heat for 5-10 minutes until tender.
Sriracha Honey Sauce:
Combine ketchup, soy sauce, honey and Sriracha sauce and stir until well mixed.
2- 8.8 oz bags ready Basmati rice (cooked to package directions 90 sec microwaved)
In each of 4 bowls, first add rice in a mound to one side of bowl. Put Butternut Squash in 1/3 the space. Add Asian Turkey burger in remaining space and drizzle with Sriracha Honey Sauce.

In this recipe, I use the ready in 90 seconds Basmati rice which, is perfect for a two person dinner if your kids refuse to eat anything other than dinosaur chicken nuggets. This is perfect for nights where you want to minimize dishes. Using the already spiralized butternut squash noodles helps save time too although they are quite pricey.
This meal is still cheaper and healthier than take-out. Remember: there really is no plate like home!

- 1/2 tsp Sriracha Sauce
- 2- 8.8 oz bags ready Basmati rice cooked to package directions 90 sec microwaved
