Asian Sticky Chicken Wings are a sticky delicious hot appetizer made with honey and Asian Hoisin sauce. Gluten-free option.
Saucy chicken wings are so delicious and finger licking good! You’ll be looking for your next one before you’re finished the first. This recipe is similar to my popular and featured on Parad.com Air Fryer Honey Garlic Chicken Wings.
A clinical study showed Mazola® Corn Oil reduces cholesterol 2x more than extra virgin olive oil. Because February is National Heart Health month, I wanted to share an amazingly TASTY and EASY Asian Sticky Chicken Wings recipe that is full of honey and garlic flavor yet, healthier than fried chicken wings because:
- The chicken wings are made with only one tablespoon of Mazola Corn Oil, which is a healthier oil than vegetable oil.
- They’re made with natural organic honey instead of refined sugar.
- Plus, the chicken wings are coated with Argo Cornstarch which makes them crispy.
- Additionally, they’re baked in an air fryer, which makes them crispy, and not deep fried!
You’re going to LOVE this recipe for the reasons mentioned above but even more so because of how finger-licking GREAT these wings taste! My husband and I devoured them! They’re perfect for game day and March Madness. Find the printable recipe card below!

Mazola Corn Oil
Mazola Corn Oil has more cholesterol-blocking plant sterols than other cooking oils.
It has :
- four times more than olive oil
- one and a half times more than canola oil
Clinical studies show that when consumed as part of a diet low in saturated fat and cholesterol, plant sterols can help reduce the absorption of cholesterol in the gut. That’s a good thing!
You can reduce saturated fats and cholesterol in your diet easily with simple swaps. For example, swap Mazola Corn Oil for butter. Corn oil has a higher smoke point too which, makes it good to use for frying.
I use it to fry my 4-Ingredient Italian Fried Eggplant for this reason but, also because corn oil has a neutral taste and doesn’t detract from the taste of the eggplant. Mazola Corn Oil is an all-purpose, cholesterol free cooking oil that is a smart heart-healthy* choice for your family.
It has a variety of uses include baking, grilling, sautéing, stir frying, or mixing up a marinade or dressing.
Asian Sticky Chicken Wings
I’ve also used corn oil in my Grilled Chicken Fajita Lettuce Wraps recipe which is perfect for camping.
